Luke has done a terrific job and charged good value for your money compared to others way too much and also cut down my other small tree at no cost. He cleaned everything up once the job is done which I'm very impressed. Before you go to anyone else give Luke a go and I'm sure you be pleased with value, helpful and getting things done.👍👍🙂🙂

These guys did an awesome job. I needed some hedges cut and stumps ground and they got it done. The ground was rocky and it didn't stop them. They came by a week earlier, gave me a great quote and did everything they said they would in the day they said they would. Couldn't ask for better.
They did such a good job my neighbors all noticed and hired them for their own jobs. 😅 I can speak for their honesty and fairness, and the quality of their work can clearly speak for it self!

Tree trimming & pruning
Good pruning keeps a tree healthy, safe and looking its best. Bad pruning can kill it. We make the right cuts in the right places so the tree recovers well and keeps its natural shape.
It's the right choice when branches hang over the roof or gutters, block light or views, rub on the house, or are dead and could drop.
What's included
Crown thinning to let light and wind through
Crown lifting for clearance over paths and driveways
Some trees need to go: they're dead, dangerous, damaging pipes or foundations, or just in the wrong spot. We remove trees of all sizes, including in tight backyards close to houses, fences and power lines.
Where there's no room to drop a tree in one piece, we take it down in sections so nothing gets damaged on the way.
A leftover stump is a trip hazard, a home for termites and an eyesore. We grind stumps down below ground level so you can lay turf, plant a garden or build over the spot.
Rocky ground or awkward access isn't a problem. We can also grind out surface roots running across the lawn.
Overgrown hedges take over a yard fast. We trim them back to a neat, even shape and the height you want, whether it's a privacy screen along the fence or a formal hedge out the front.
We also offer regular maintenance visits so your hedges stay tidy all year.
When a storm brings a tree or large branch down on your house, car, fence or driveway, you need it made safe quickly. Call us and we'll get there as fast as we can.
We'll make the site safe first, then remove the tree and clean up. We can also check the trees still standing for storm damage.

Lopping & Pruning
What is the difference between tree lopping and pruning?
Lopping is the practice of cutting large branches back to stubs, often to reduce a tree's height quickly. Pruning is the selective removal of branches at the correct points so the tree can seal its wounds and keep its natural shape. Pruning is the professional standard and is better for the long-term health and safety of the tree.
Is lopping harmful to a tree?
Yes. Large stub cuts leave wounds the tree cannot seal, which allows decay to set in. The tree responds with fast, weakly attached regrowth that can become hazardous within a few years. For this reason, we recommend correct pruning or, where necessary, removal instead.
How much of a tree can safely be pruned?
As a general guide, no more than a quarter of a tree's live canopy should be removed at one time. Removing more can stress the tree and lead to decline. We tailor every pruning job to the species, age and condition of the tree.
How often should my trees be pruned?
Most established trees benefit from pruning every two to three years. Fast-growing species, hedges and trees near buildings or driveways may need attention more often.
When is the best time to prune?
Most species can be pruned at any time of year, although some benefit from seasonal timing. We recommend removing dead or hazardous limbs before storm season.
Tree Removal & Stumps
When should a tree be removed rather than pruned?
Removal is usually recommended when a tree is dead or dying, structurally unsound, causing damage to buildings or services, or is too close to a structure to be managed by pruning alone. We will always discuss your options before recommending removal.
How long does a tree removal take?
Most small to medium trees can be removed within a few hours. Larger trees, or trees with limited access, may take a full day or more. We will give you a time estimate when we quote.
How is the cost of tree work calculated?
Pricing depends on the size and species of the tree, access to the site, how close it is to buildings, fences and services, and the amount of green waste to be removed. Every quote is provided after an on-site inspection, so you receive a fixed price with no hidden costs.
Will the roots grow back after stump grinding?
In most cases, no. Grinding the stump below ground level stops the tree from regrowing. A small number of species, such as camphor laurel, may produce new shoots and require follow-up treatment.
Council & Safety
Do I need council approval to remove or prune a tree?
Many Sydney councils require approval before a tree is removed or significantly pruned, and the rules vary between councils. Exemptions may apply in some cases, such as dead or dangerous trees or declared weed species. We will advise whether approval is likely to be required when we quote. Obtaining approval is the responsibility of the property owner, and penalties for unauthorised work can be significant.
Can you prune a neighbour's tree that overhangs my property?
Work can only be carried out on a tree with the owner's consent. We recommend discussing it with your neighbour and checking your council's requirements before any work goes ahead.
Can you work near power lines?
Work near live power lines is restricted and may only be carried out by authorised personnel. Please contact us first and we will advise whether we can complete the work or whether your electricity network provider needs to be involved. Never attempt to prune near power lines yourself.
These terms apply to all work carried out by TreeTech Tree Services and Maintenance (ABN 12 592 255 166), referred to as "TreeTech", "we" or "us". By accepting a quote or booking a job with us, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes
Quotes are free and based on what we see during our site visit.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date they're given.
If the job changes, or we find something that couldn't be seen when we quoted (such as hidden rot, wire or concrete inside a tree or stump), we'll talk to you about any change in price before going ahead.
3. Bookings and weather
We'll agree a date with you for the work. Tree work can be dangerous in strong wind, heavy rain or storms, so we may need to reschedule for safety reasons. If that happens, we'll contact you as soon as possible to arrange a new date.
4. Council approval
Some trees need council approval before they can be removed or heavily pruned. We'll let you know if we think your job is likely to need it, but it's the property owner's responsibility to get any approval required before work starts.
5. Your property and access
You confirm the trees are on your property, or that you have permission from the owner (for example a neighbour, landlord or strata) for the work to go ahead.
Please give us clear access to the work area on the day, and secure pets.
Please tell us about anything we can't see, such as underground pipes, cables, irrigation or septic systems, before work starts.
6. Care of your property
We take care to protect your house, fences, gardens and lawns. We're fully insured. We're not responsible for damage caused by things we weren't told about and couldn't reasonably see, or for minor wear to lawns and garden beds from access that can't be avoided.
7. Clean-up and green waste
Clean-up and removal of green waste are included in our quotes unless we agree otherwise. If you'd like to keep the mulch or firewood, just let us know.
8. Payment
Payment is due when the job is finished, unless we've agreed other terms with you in writing. We'll tell you the payment options when we quote.
9. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or move a booking, please let us know at least 24 hours before the scheduled day.
10. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or changes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.
